* The company was established according to the Royal Decree published in the Egyptian Gazette, Supplement to Issue (53) issued on 3/13/1952, and it was registered in the Commercial Register in the same year.

* In 1962, 50% of the company’s capital was nationalized, and with the issuance of Presidential Decree Law No. 52 of 1964, 100% of the company’s capital was nationalized.

* The company's affiliation was transferred to the Public Sector Authority for Construction based on the provisions of the Public Sector Bodies and Companies Law No. (97) of 1983, then its affiliation was returned to the National Construction Company in accordance with the Public Business Sector Companies Law No. (203) of 1991, and by a decision of the Prime Minister on 2/14. /1993 Its affiliation was transferred to the Holding Company for Construction and Electric Power Distribution.

* In implementation of the government's program to expand the ownership base, the company was registered on the stock exchanges in Cairo and Alexandria. By the end of 1997, the company graduated from the scope of the provisions of the Public Business Sector Law to the scope of the Joint Stock Companies Law, where the shares acquired by the Holding Company for Construction and Development represented (20.3%). From the company’s capital, the public sector share, and by selling that share on (7/2017); The company became privately owned by shareholders (100%).

* Under the current leadership and as a result of its adoption of modern management methods, the company restored its activity and status to what it was previously, and in December 2021, the issued and paid-up capital was increased from (30) million Egyptian pounds to (97,200) million pounds, and the company was re-listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange. (Small and Medium Enterprises Stock Exchange), in continuation of the path of success and progress; The company's capital was increased to (291,600) million pounds in March 2024; To take a new path towards prosperity and competition in the world of contracting and 

The company was established for the purpose of working in integrated public contracting, which includes:

• * Integrated planning and implementation of all civil, public and marine constructions of various types and purposes (residential cities - hospitals - schools and universities - roads, bridges and tunnels - exchanges and telephone networks - gas stations - landscaping sites, squares and gardens - hotels, rest houses and swimming pools - airstrips, sea and dry ports and marine piers. ..), in addition to supplying and installing all specialized mechanical and electrical equipment associated with each process.

The Industrial and Engineering Projects Company is one of the largest contracting companies in Egypt. It has previously participated in the establishment of many national projects in all fields, bringing its contribution to 40% of the infrastructure of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as follows:

* Projects Company is the leading company in the Middle East and Africa in the field of planning and construction of water desalination plants. Including the implementation of (15) desalination plants with a capacity of (600 m3/day) on the Red Sea coast, and (4) plants with a total capacity of (15 thousand m3/day) in South Sinai, and (2) plants with a total capacity of (2000 m3/day) in Ain Sokhna. The projects it has implemented in this field have reached more than (50) water desalination plants, in addition to implementing marine outlets at different depths and distances into the seawater.

* Due to the company’s extensive experience in the field of infrastructure, it has planned and implemented more than (20) sewage treatment plants, and more than (11) sewage plants, in addition to implementing a thermal effect unit on reverse osmosis (R.O) systems in Dabaa, and drilling and implementing a number (200 production wells with depths ranging from 40 to 300 meters, in addition to open and covered drainage irrigation networks to serve 350 thousand acres. It also contributed to national land reclamation projects.

* The company takes precedence in participating in the implementation of major projects at the republic level, such as: (lining the El Salam Canal in Sinai - implementing electricity station and network projects - oil and gas lines - roads, tunnels, and underpasses under roads and railways...).
